Residential sales activity in the Interior BC region rose in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the fourth quarter of 2023.
Residential property sales numbered 1,777 units in the fourth quarter of 2024, accelerating 23.7% compared to the same quarter in 2023.
Sales rose 22.9% for single detached homes, were up 31.8% for townhouse and row units, and were up 30.9% for apartment units compared to a year earlier in the fourth quarter.
Annually, residential property sales numbered 8,183 units in all of 2024. This was down 1.4% compared to the 8,297 units recorded in 2023.
