Residential sales activity in Victoria rose in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the fourth quarter of 2023.
Residential property sales numbered 1,537 units in the fourth quarter of 2024, increasing 44.2% compared to the same quarter in 2023.
Single-family home sales rose 46.8%, were up 63.1% for sales of townhouse and row units, and were up 37.9% for sales of condominium units in the fourth quarter of 2024.
Annually, residential property sales numbered 6,582 units in all of 2024. This was up 10.9% compared to the 5,934 units recorded in 2023.
