Residential Activity


Residential sales activity in the area served by the BC Northern real estate board rose in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the fourth quarter of 2023.

Residential property sales numbered 910 units in the fourth quarter of 2024, accelerating 22.5% compared to the same quarter in 2023.

Single detached home sales rose 22.9% in the fourth quarter of 2024.

Annually, residential property sales numbered 4,015 units in all of 2024. This was up 10.2% compared to the 3,644 units recorded in 2023.
