Residential Activity


Residential sales activity in Windsor-Essex slowed in the fourth quarter of 2022 from the fourth quarter of 2021. Residential property sales numbered 1,073 units in the fourth quarter of 2022, down significantly compared to the same quarter in 2021. Single detached home sales slowed 46%, while sales of apartment units were down 41.4% in the fourth quarter of 2022. Annually, residential property sales numbered 6,456 units in all of 2022. This was up 11.6% compared to the 5,784 units recorded in 2021.
