Residential Activity


Residential sales activity in the Kootenays slowed in the second quarter of 2026 compared to the second quarter of 2025.

Residential property sales numbered 861 units in the second quarter of 2026, down eight sales compared to the same quarter in 2025.

Single detached home sales slowed 4.9%, while sales of apartment units were up 14.9% in the second quarter of 2026.
