Residential sales activity in Hamilton-Burlington rose in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the fourth quarter of 2023.
Residential property sales numbered 2,325 units in the fourth quarter of 2024, increasing 30.8% compared to the same quarter in 2023.
Sales rose 29.9% for single detached homes, were up 36.9% for townhouse and row units, and were up 34.4% for apartment units compared to a year earlier in the fourth quarter.
Annually, residential property sales numbered 10,159 units in all of 2024. This was up 2.7% compared to the 9,892 units recorded in 2023.
