Calgary Residential Activity

Residential sales activity in Calgary rose in the first quarter of 2024 compared to the first quarter of 2023.

Residential property sales numbered 8,132 units in the first quarter of 2024, accelerating 19.7% compared to the same quarter in 2023.

Sales rose 15.4% for single detached homes, were up 22.7% for townhouse and row units, and were up 28.7% for apartment units compared to a year earlier in the first quarter.
