Windsor Employment Trends
The unemployment rate in Windsor was 12.9% at the end of April 2020, up 2.4% from the previous month to the highest level in more than a decade.
The number of full-time jobs was down from the end of the previous month to where it stood about four years ago.
There were 5,800 fewer full-time jobs in April 2020 compared to a month earlier. A loss of 7,600 part-time positions led to a decrease of 13,400 total jobs in April.
Full-time job losses occurred mainly in agriculture, manufacturing, and healthcare.
