Sales by Price Range


Single Detached

Single detached home sales activity was up on a year-over-year basis in almost all price ranges, except for homes in the lowest price segment in the fourth quarter of 2019.

The market for single detached homes was tightest in the range $500K-$750K, where demand was strongest relative to supply.

Single detached homes in the price range $750K-$1M spent the least amount of time on market prior to selling in the fourth quarter.

Semi-Detached

Semi-detached unit sales activity was down from a year earlier in lower and mid-price ranges, although gains at the upper end of the market more than offset these declines in the fourth quarter of 2019.

The market for semi-detached units was tightest in the range $700K-$800K, where demand was strongest relative to supply.

Semi-detached units in the price range above $800K spent the least amount of time on market prior to selling in the second quarter.

Condo Townhouse

Sales activity for condominium townhouse units was upon a year-over-year basis in mid to upper price segments in the fourth quarter of 2019.

The market for condominium townhouse units was tightest in the range $350K-$450K, where demand was strongest relative to supply.

Condominium townhouse units in the price range $350K-$450K spent the least amount of time on market prior to selling in the fourth quarter.

Condo Apartment

Sales activity for condominium apartment units were up on a year-over-year basis in mid to upper price ranges, offsetting declines in lower price ranges in the fourth quarter of 2019.

The market for condominium apartment units was tightest in the range $500K-$575K, where demand was strongest relative to supply.

Condominium apartment units in the price ranges $425K-$500K and $500K-$575K spent the least amount of time on market prior to selling in the fourth quarter.
