Residential sales activity in the Greater Toronto Area rose in the first quarter of 2024 compared to the first quarter of 2023.
Residential property sales numbered 16,390 units in the first quarter of 2024, accelerating 10.9% compared to the same quarter in 2023.
Sales rose 10.9% for single detached homes, were up 16% for semi-detached units, were up 19.1% for condominium townhouse units, and were up 5.3% for condominium apartment units compared to a year earlier in the first quarter.
