Residential sales activity in the Greater Toronto Area rose in the third quarter of 2024 compared to the third quarter of 2023.
Residential property sales numbered 15,362 units in the third quarter of 2024, edging up 1.2% compared to the same quarter in 2023.
Sales rose 3.9% for single detached homes, were up 5.2% for semi-detached units, were down 2.2% for condominium townhouse units, and were down 4.4% for condominium apartment units compared to a year earlier in the third quarter.
