Residential Activity


Residential sales activity in Newfoundland and Labrador slowed in the first quarter of 2024 compared to the first quarter of 2023.

Residential property sales numbered 855 units in the first quarter of 2024, down 5% compared to the same quarter in 2023.

Single detached home sales were down 9.2%, while sales of multi-family units were up 18.4% in the first quarter of 2024.
