Residential sales activity in Guelph rose in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the fourth quarter of 2023.
Residential property sales numbered 1,468 units in the fourth quarter of 2024, accelerating 26.7% compared to the same quarter in 2023.
Sales rose 34.1% for single detached homes, were up 22.1% for townhouse and row units, and were up 26.2% for apartment units compared to a year earlier in the fourth quarter.
Annually, residential property sales numbered 6,947 units in all of 2024. This was up 5.6% compared to the 6,578 units recorded in 2023.
