Residential sales activity in Edmonton rose in the second quarter of 2024 compared to the second quarter of 2023.
Residential property sales numbered 10,152 units in the second quarter of 2024, accelerating 24.2% compared to the same quarter in 2023. This was the highest number of residential sales ever recorded in any quarter.
Sales rose 19% for single detached homes, were up 34.5% for townhouse and row units, and were up 42.2% for apartment units compared to a year earlier in the second quarter.
