Residential sales activity in Edmonton rose in the third quarter of 2024 compared to the third quarter of 2023.
Residential property sales numbered 8,688 units in the third quarter of 2024, accelerating 16.6% compared to the same quarter in 2023. This was the highest number of residential sales ever recorded in a third quarter.
Sales rose 14.3% for single detached homes, were up 31.7% for townhouse and row units, and were up 19.4% for apartment units compared to a year earlier in the third quarter.
