Edmonton Residential Activity

Residential sales activity in Edmonton rose in the first quarter of 2024 compared to the first quarter of 2023.

Residential property sales numbered 6,492 units in the first quarter of 2024, increasing 41.4% compared to the same quarter in 2023.

Sales rose 45.2% for single detached homes, were up 36.5% for townhouse and row units, and were up 40.4% for apartment units compared to a year earlier in the first quarter.
