Renfrew County Real Estate Board

The number of homes sold through the MLS® System of the Renfrew County Real Estate Board totaled 67 units in February 2026. This was a modest decline of 2.9% (two sales) from February 2025.

Home sales were 21.7% below the five-year average and 27.6% below the 10-year average for the month of February.

On a year-to-date basis, home sales totaled 127 units over the first two months of the year. This was down by 4.5% (six sales) from the same period in 2025.

The average price of homes sold in February 2026 was $505,735, an increase of 21.2% from February 2025.

The more comprehensive year-to-date average price was $483,975, a sizable gain of 12.8% from the first two months of 2025.

The dollar value of all home sales in February 2026 was $33.9 million, increasing by 17.7% from the same month in 2025.

The number of new listings fell 13.6% from February 2025. There were 127 new residential listings in February 2026.

New listings were 10.2% below the five-year average and 20.8% below the 10-year average for the month of February.

Active residential listings numbered 326 units on the market at the end of February, up modestly by 3.2% (10 listings) from the end of February 2025.

Active listings were 22% above the five-year average and 21.2% below the 10-year average for the month of February.

Months of inventory numbered 4.9 at the end of February 2026, up from the 4.6 months recorded at the end of February 2025 and on par with the long-run average of 4.9 months for this time of year. The number of months of inventory is the number of months it would take to sell current inventories at the current rate of sales activity.
