The unemployment rate in Windsor was 8.4% as of April 2024, up 0.9% from the previous month. The unemployment rate stood 9.1% below the peak from May 2020 and is below the long-run average.
There were 3,000 more full-time jobs in April 2024 compared to a month earlier. A loss of 2,200 part-time positions led to an increase of 800 total jobs in April.
Full-time employment was still down 7,700 jobs from the peak in July 2023 but stood 4,800 jobs above the trough in February 2024.
