Residential Activity


Residential sales activity in Saint John slowed in the fourth quarter of 2022 compared to the fourth quarter of 2021. Residential property sales numbered 466 units in the fourth quarter of 2022, down significantly compared to the same quarter in 2021. Single detached home sales slowed 32.6% in the fourth quarter of 2022. Annually, residential property sales numbered 2,391 units in all of 2022. This was up 44.4% compared to the 1,656 units recorded in 2021.
