Central Alberta Residential Activity

Residential sales activity in Central Alberta slowed in the second quarter of 2023 compared to the second quarter of 2022.

Residential property sales numbered 1,636 units in the second quarter of 2023, down 17% compared to the same quarter in 2022.

Sales slowed 20.5% for single detached homes, were up 13.9% for townhouse and row units, and were down 6.2% for apartment units compared to a year earlier in the second quarter.
