Residential sales activity in the area served by the Barrie & District Association of REALTORS® Inc. (BDAR) slowed in the first quarter of 2024 compared to the first quarter of 2023.
Residential property sales numbered 1,122 units in the first quarter of 2024, down 9.8% compared to the same quarter in 2023.
Sales slowed 6.9% for single detached homes, were down 10.1% for townhouse and row units, and were down 29.1% for apartment units compared to a year earlier in the first quarter.
